I use two of these as part of my Bicycle rack clinch system. One through each rim as a back-up in the event the actual clamp fails. Theoretically, these would keep the bicycle from completely separating from the rack and become road debris/hazard. Well - the clamp failed!! And these two cinch strips held my near 50 pound bicycle in place while I brought the vehicle to a stop! They absolutely prevented a catastrophic loss!!! db

I do not use this product for tying up computer cables and such like that.
I make wire jewelry and the wires I use, spools and they tend to unravel very easily and you have a mess.
I bought these cable ties with the eyelet on them that I wrap around the spools and run the loose end of the wire through the eyelet allowing me to pull the wire through to get the proper length I need.
All you need to do is figure out the proper length of strap you need to go around your spool and I pick one that is the same width as the interior of the spool that way the velcro material covers all of my wire some of which is very fine and easily damaged so I get a secondary benefit of protecting my sterling silver and gold wires as well as keeping them from unspooling and making a mess.
I would suggest that the company should get with the jewelry supply houses that sell wire for wire workers and offer the product through them. I think it would be a very good Market.
